Feature request: right click logger/message and select goto next/previous message from this logger

jod
Hi

Currently there is two ways to do this kind of navigation, both cumberson
A) show only this logger move move with up/down, restore manually previous level of all loggers, I seldom do that as I often have to many loggers with individual logger levels
B) create a filter only, my prefered way but this is 6+ mouse clicks, and you tend to get a lot of filters

Thanks Jens

Dear Jens,

could you try right clicking on the logger column's header in the message view and selecting "Group By This Column"?
Does the resulting message representation satisfy your request?

Yours sincerely

The "Group By This Column" seems to be for viewing the table
the grouping I had in mind was for combining the effect of several filter entries

e.g. it is not currently possible to make a filter that combine filtering on more than one field

Dear Jens,

if you rightclick on the message view's columns and select "Filter Editor..." an advanced filter manger will show up. Here you can define filters concerning multiple columns at once.

Still these filters will not show up in our filter dock or be saved in the configuration. We are currently working on fully integrating those advanced filters. Yet this may take some time. In the meantime you have to define seperate filters for each column if you want to use integrated ones.

Yours sincerely
