Using Log4View with custom XML layout

Hello Elena,

Log4View is designed to read the normal XML-layout of log4net.

I don’t know your custom implementation but you can just try it. As long as the main structure of the xml file isn’t changed, it should work.

Hello Elena,

sorry, but it is not possible to teach Log4View another XML format.

Why did you change the standard XML format? Perhaps you can achieve the same goal with the standard format?

Hello Urlich,

We changed the main structure and I've already tried to read our logs using Log4View but it's not working, of course.
I was just wondering if there is a way to "teach" Log4View what our structure is like.
