After restart of Log4View the Logger, Filter, Search, and Message Panels could no longer be shown, had to reinstall Log4View to see them again!

Dear Jens,

we are sorry to hear that. If this problem occurs again, could you please try deleting the key "Layout" at

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PROSA\Log4View\<Log4View Version>

in your registry? Also would you mind sending us the values there causing your problem before deleting them?

Thank you for your feedback

Re: Unhandle exception in Log4View

Dear Jens,

there seems to be a problem with saving the layout to the registry, which causes these problems at startup of Log4View, when these values are read again. As the management (and thus saving/loading) of the layout is done by an external libary, we are unable to fix this problem on our own.
In the meantime, we added a workaround in our latest beta version (12.4.1) which should reset the layout to  default when this error is detected at startup.
