Log4View is just a log viewer and cannot be run as a service.
Just create a file appender where your application writes ist log messages and exceptions.
When you log in, open Log4View and show the contents of the log file which has been created by the file appender.

Betreff: Running Receivers as a Service
I am looking to install an app like this on one of my servers to receive all the exceptions thrown by our applications. But As the server is not normally logged in to, we would need the receivers to run as
a Windows Service, which will add the logged exceptions to the buffer.
Then when a user logs in, and opens the viewer, he can check for new exceptions, and update the status on them etc.
Is this possible with Log4View? Or do I need some other application to capture and store the exceptions, then just use this app to view them?
Thanks for any help.
